Seating Map

The seating map (below) is a best guess of where donors may be seated. It is intended to be a guide not an absolute indication of where each person's seat will be located. Your annual gift and overall priority points will ultimately determine where
your seats will be located.

Did You Know?
Facts and Figures About the 2008 Football Policy

Donors in Group A
There are 797 donors who contributed $6,200 or more in 2007. Many people believe that donors in this group are primarily corporate donors. In fact, only 41 donors (5%) are businesses and, of that group, the majority are local small business owners.

The average number of years that donors in this group have been making annual contributions is 17.5. There were 19 new donors in 2007 who contributed $6,200 or more. If each new donor at this level continues to give for the average of 17.5 years, each one will contribute $108,500.

Ticket requests/upgrades
In past years, as many as 35% of the season ticket orders have included a special request for a seat change or upgrade. The requests included adding a seat or seats, moving to an aisle, moving closer to the 50-yard line, moving closer to the field, sitting with a friend, etc. Our previous policy did not allow for many of these requests to be accommodated. The new ticket policy will offer a better chance to accommodate more of these requests in 2008.

Other universities implementing a new ticket policy this year
Three other universities are implementing a new football ticket policy this year–Wake Forest, Clemson and Iowa State. Each university announced their plans in late spring/early summer of 2007 and will fully implement the plan beginning with the 2008 season.

Do I have to pledge $6,200 or more in order to be assigned the same seats as I had in 2007?

If you pledge $6,200 in 2008, you will be guaranteed the opportunity to keep the same seats. However, depending on the location of your seats, you may not need to make a pledge at that level. There will certainly be individuals who keep their seats from 2007 without making a $6,200 pledge. If your 2007 seat location is available at the time of your seat assignment and you indicated on your ticket application that you would like the same seats, they will be assigned to you for the 2008 season.

Example I. If you have had seats in section 121 and you contribute $600, your seats will be assigned in priority point order. When your order is filled and your seats are assigned, you could be assigned the same seats as before, provided they are available and you made a request on your ticket application to stay in the same location.

Example II. You have had seats in the lower level end zone, section 117, and you noticed on the seating map that this section is projected to be a Group D section. If you are a donor at the Sabre Club level or above (or want to become a donor in 2008), you will have priority over any non-donor in this area. You must make your pledge by March 31 and indicate on your ticket application that you would like to keep your same seat location.
