1. What is the Virginia Athletics Foundation?
The Foundation is the fundraising organization Athletics department. Through the generosity of 9,600 donors, the Foundation fully funds the NCAA number of athletics scholarships for all 25 men’s and women's sports programs, Academic Affairs support for all student-athletes, and partially funds the operations of the department. Virginia Athletics receives no funding Commonwealth of Virginia or the University.

2. Who will the new policy affect?
The new policy will affect all football season ticket holders – donors and non-donors. Those in Group A (V Club or higher) are guaranteed the right to keep their if desired. Each individual’s selection or assignment be determined according to the 2008 Virginia Football Seating and Parking Policy.

3. Will a capital or endowment gift be required?
No capital gift will be required. Groups are determined by a donor’s Annual Campaign gift to the Virginia Athletics and a donor’s priority points will determine their selection/assignment order within their group.

4. If I am not in Selection Group A or B, will I be given the opportunity to make special requests or share my preference before assignments are made?
Yes. On your 2008 football season ticket application, you will be able to note your seating preferences and requests.

5. I have been a football season ticket holder for many years. How will making a gift to the Virginia Athletics Foundation impact my seat location?
By making a gift at or above the Sabre Club giving level you will be seated before all donors at the Contributor Club giving level and before all non-donors.

6. What happens if I want to sit with a group of my friends?
Season ticket holders who desire to sit with other season ticket holders will select or have their seats assigned based on the ranking of the donor in the lowest Group and with the lowest number of priority points, or, if in Group D, the individual's with the fewest years of season ticket purchases.

7. I want to park next to my friend. How do we get spaces together?
Parking spaces will be selected/assigned according to a donor’s selection group and then by priority points – the same process as for seating. If you want to have your space next to another individual, you will select/be assigned based on the ranking of the donor in the lowest Group and with the lowest priority points.

8. I am in Group A and currently have six seats. Only four of those are together and the other two are in a different location. I want to keep the four seats that are now together. How can I get all six seats together?
The only way to guarantee that all six of your seats are together is to reselect all six of the seats. The other option is to retain the four and hope to reselect the other two closer to your current seats.

9. How can I maintain my seats year-to-year after the 2008 selection/assignment process is complete?
Donors who maintain their giving level each year will be able to maintain the same seats. Group D season ticket holders will be assigned annually based on season ticket availability. The Virginia Football Priority Seating and Parking Policy will be reviewed every three years.

10. What if I want to order more season football tickets than my giving level allows?
Individuals may order tickets in addition to the maximum number they qualify for based on their giving level. The first 8 additional tickets requested will be assigned before Group D. All others, if available, will be assigned after Group D.

11. I do not plan to make an annual contribution to the Foundation. May I still apply for football season tickets?
Yes. You may still apply for season football tickets and indicate your seating preferences and requests. You will be part of the Group D assignment process, and your seats will be assigned based on your longevity as a season ticket holder (up to 20 years).

12. To what extent would donations assist me in obtaining single game tickets?
Single game tickets, if available, will be assigned based on the Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point system.
