Giving Levels and Benefits
When you make a gift to the Annual Campaign you receive priority points which are used to prioritize ticket purchasing, seat location and parking privileges. Priority points are a reward to individuals who have made a commitment to U.Va. athletics and provide a systematic and fair process to allocate seating and parking locations. In addition, benefits such as the number of priority tickets you can buy are determined by your giving level. You can see the complete list of giving levels and benefits below.
Another benefit to making a gift is that your gift may be 100% or 80% tax deductible. If you receive the benefits of priority seating, your gift is 80% deductible. To qualify for 100% tax deductibility, you must check the waiver box on the pledge form indicating your decision to waive your right to any benefits (priority points, tickets, parking, etc.). Please consult your tax advisor.
Changes in Benefits for 2008
• Football Seating and Parking Adjustments
As announced during the Spring of 2007, the football seating and parking assignments will be adjusted to more accurately reflect a donor's level of giving and lifetime contribution to the Virginia Athletics Foundation. See policy>
• ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
Because the 2009 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament will be played in the Georgia Dome with a larger seating capacity, the ability to apply for tickets has been extended to the Wahoo Club and higher. Please note that this is a one-time offering. The tournament returns to the smaller Greensboro Coliseum in 2010 and the ability to apply for tickets will be adjusted accordingly.
