inia Athletics Foundation launched Virginia Student-Athletes…Cavaliers for Life to engage former student-athletes in an effort to generate more financial support for our current programs and create opportunities for reconnecting with the Virginia athletics program.
By supporting current student-athletes through gifts made either to the Annual Fund at large or to a specific “Friends Of” program, student-athlete alumni help to fund the cost of athletic scholarships, academic support for student-athletes, and a portion of the team’s operational budget.

Cavaliers for Life–Back on Grounds
Each fall, the Virginia Athletics Foundation hosts the Annual All-Sports Reunion, inviting all student-athlete alumni to return to Charlottesville to reunite with teammates and attend a weekend full of events
Young Alumni Dollar-For-Dollar Matching Gift
The Foundation will match each dollar you contribute beginning in your graduation year and for the following three years (four years total). Alumni who have obtained a graduate degree in the last two years are eligible for the dollar-for-dollar match their graduation year and the following year. Maximum match: $5,000 annually.
