Make your gift go farther

Many corporations match eligible gifts made by their employees. Contact your employer’s
human resources department for information about their matching gift program and to obtain the
proper forms. Please check your company’s criteria to determine whether they will match an
athletics-related gift.

How to make a Matching Gift:

1.  Ask your company’s human resource representative if they will match gifts to athletics-related organizations
and how much they will match.

2. Obtain the matching gift form from your company’s human resources office.

3. Complete your portion of the gift form and send it the Virginia Athletics Foundation with your gift and/or pledge form.

If you make your gift online or over the phone, you can complete the form and send it to the Foundation.
The Foundation’s gift processing manager will complete the form and send it to your company to receive
the matching funds.
